August: Mudgee Wine Weekend:

Saturday 17th August: Meeting point is at the Glenbrook tourist information centre at 7.30am for an 8am departure.
We will travel up via the Great Western Hwy across the mountains and turn off at the Castlereagh Hwy and head for Mudgee. We will stop somewhere along the way to regather and this should see the club arrive at the Mudgee Valley Park at Mudgee around 11am if all goes well.
Our club has organised a winery tour of 5 wineries at minimum, with the tour buses picking the members up from the Mudgee Valley Park at 11am and return at 4.30pm. The club has arranged for the GT’s to be securely parked whilst we go off for the tour of the wineries.
Cost of the tour is $132 PP and lunch is not included. NB: Please allow up to $10 PP for tasting, if wine is not to be purchased. The cost of the tour must be paid directly to the club in full by the end of June.
Dinner on Saturday night will be a BYO BBQ at the caravan park and like our usual weekends away it should be quite an enjoyable evening.
Sunday 18th August: Sunday will see the club head out to Capertee for lunch at the Royal Hotel Capertee.
For members staying in Mudgee the morning is all yours to venture around town.
The Mudgee crew will meet outside Mudgee Train Station at 10.30am for a 10.45am departure.
For members who wish to drive up for the day from Sydney, the meeting point will be the Glenbrook Tourist Information Centre at 9am for a 9.30am departure.
Any members who wish to stay overnight in Mudgee are urged to ring the Mudgee Valley Park on 02 6372 1236 and book a cabin ASAP.
